Cooktop and oven connections

Bayonet points, fixed connections, and the changeover when a new cooktop does not line up with the old gas point.

When you need this

The new cooktop is sitting in its box, the kitchen is in, and the gas point is 400mm from where it needs to be.

The gap nobody plans for

Retailers deliver. They very rarely connect. The point in your old kitchen was set out for the old cabinetry, and the new cooktop wants the connection somewhere else. Moving it is usually an hour of work, but it has to happen before the joinery is siliconed in.

Ring with the model number and the cabinet layout and we can usually tell you over the phone whether it is a move or a straight swap.

Conversions

Some appliances convert between natural gas and LPG with a manufacturer jet kit, and some cannot. We check the data plate rather than guessing.
