When you need this

Floor wastes that gurgle, a toilet that empties slowly, or water rising in the shower every time the washing machine drains.

What usually causes it

In the older suburbs, Bayswater, Mount Lawley, Fremantle, most blockages are tree roots finding their way into the joints of clay pipe. In newer estates it is more often wipes, fat from the kitchen sink, or a section of pipe laid with a belly in it that holds water.

Clearing the blockage is the easy part. Knowing which of those three you have is what decides whether we are back here in six months. That is why the camera goes down after every clear, and why we hand you the footage rather than describing it.

What it costs

We quote before we start, and the quote covers the clear and the camera. If the footage shows damaged pipe you get a separate written price for the repair, with no obligation to take it.
